Onken's gave restaurants the lock on stopping yellow grease thieves – and now it’s stronger than ever. The industry standard for theft-deterrent folding lids has been redesigned. With a cleaner design, the Folding Security Lid can now be easily attached in the field – and fewer locks simplify the process more than ever. So even if containers have been in use for years, businesses can still protect their assets.

Folding Security Lids stay on the bin, so drivers don’t have to handle heavy, reinforced lids. Built on the quintessential folding lid design – and with the superior Onken standard of quality – these security lids feature a precision cut screen made from 1/4" material, bolted in to keep thieves from pumping grease out. An added layer of protection comes from the lid’s locking corners and center.

To prevent one of the most common weaknesses in grease containers – easily accessible, easily cut padlocks – the Folding Security Lid’s locks are designed to restrict hasp access. That comes from a locking mechanism at the center of the fold lid that keeps thieves from prying up the hinge joint. Drop-in pins attached to locks on the front corners provide even more security.

Even with all of the security, the Folding lid still makes it easy to service – drivers can unlock the lid at the front, fold it halfway back to pump, or completely unlock it for dumping – all without removing the lid.
